The Microsoft Virtual Earth team has released the latest update to Windows Live Maps and Virtual Earth. Among the key new features in the latest release is support for Firefox 3D via the VE3D control, and expanded capabilities for area calculations and drawings. There should be a new VE SDK coming out soon to support all of the new features.
